Titan Poker New Loyalty Scheme – Looking After The Recreational Players

It sometimes seems to me that grinders (the smaller stakes online pros who multitable for a living) feel that the poker sites should be doing everything they can to give them the money of new players as quickly and easily as possible… This is wrong on so many levels, a healthy poker economy needs new players and it needs to give them a chance to enjoy the game and even to (shocking I know!) win some money early on. Many poker sites have been changing their promotions and bonus schemes to appeal to recreational players, while the traditional rakeback models are in decline. I am happy to plug Titan Poker again today for this reason – they have made a big change to their loyalty / VIP scheme which has some real focus on giving back to the recreational and smaller stakes players… this is called ‘Titan Treasures’ and comes in 3 parts. First up, I’ll mention that SNG Planet readers can claim an extra special offer at Titan - $20 extra free cash on top of your first deposit in addition to the already generous 200% matched deposit bonus. You can find out more in my Titan Poker Review.

Titan Treasures – 3 Parts – Each With Different Rewards

First up, smaller stakes players will automatically get a cash bonus of up to $20 at the end of each month. Well – almost automatically, you will have to log on to claim this during the first 7 days of the new month. This is for players earning less than 2000 points each month (bronze level) and there is an automatic 100 points = $1 payment. This could be a tournament entry or a cash game buy-in that gets your next month off to a great start! To put this in context you will get 17 points back for each $1 in SNG / tournament fees... thats a decent rebate when you consider this is on top of any other bonuses! Next, there is a new multiplier for the other loyalty scheme levels. This means you can earn points faster as you move up. They have also added a next day increase in your VIP level. This used to be updated at the end of the month – so a nice change there. What I like about this is that you have a choice of bonuses and tournament entries with your points. You can take smaller bonuses as and when you like, or save up for a really generous ($800+) bonus later on. Last, there is some fun and games to be had! Gold Coins are a new bonus currency which can be swapped for bonus cards with rewards of up to $1000. You earn these coins by completing a long list of challenges which are ideal to keep recreational players entertained… well, except for the one about finishing last in a SNG that is. You can find a list of the challenges over at TitanPoker.com (and don’t forget bonus code SNGPLANET for your extra $20 on top of the usual 200% matched bonus on your first deposit!!).

Titan Poker – Plenty Of Other Reasons For New And Recreational Players To Join Titan are part of the iPoker Network, which is the 3rd largest poker site and made up of the poker-rooms of many big sports betting brands like William Hill and Bet365. With so many gamblers at the tables the games are very easy compared to some other sites, making them a great place to learn to play or just have some fun. You will also find some entertaining games at Titan including the famous Jackpot Sit N Goes (win 6 in a row for a jackpot of up to $50k!!), Steps SNGs – which allow you to win your way to higher buy-in tournaments and plenty of qualifier tournaments, which give you the chance to win a seat in a big live event such as the World Series Of Poker. Let us add this up. Great rewards through Titan Treasures + soft and entertaining games + my extra $20 on top of your deposit bonus (claim with bonus code SNGPLANET and I will ensure the cash is paid direct to your account within 48 hours)…

I can not think of anywhere I would rather recommend for newer and recreational players at the moment – check out Titan Poker for yourself, I am sure you will agree!
