Free Spins Bonus with Multiplier
This is the most straightforward of the different bonuses. You need 3+ of the logo scatters anywhere in view to trigger it. Both the background music and the colour change. The music reminds me of a movie scene where a hero makes an epic horseback journey!
The best thing about this free spins bonus is that your wins are tripled over all 25 win-lines. You can get the other bonuses (including the strength respins covered below), along with your multiplier. These spins can also be retriggered – which is unusual for Age of the Gods slots.
Herculean Strength Respins
This is a shorter bonus game, which happens right on the regular reels. There are two variations, with the second one a lot better than the first!
One Reel Wild Respins: I you get the Prince of Olympus symbol on the middle row of the middle reel, you will see an animation where Hercules appears to be trying to pull the reels apart with his bare hands. He will cover all of reel 3, and white sparkles then surround the other reels. You now get 2 respins with the wild reel held in place – giving you plenty of chances of big wins.
Three Reel Wild Respins: This version is much better! It is triggered when you hit a wild on each of the 3 middle reels. These do not need to be on the middle row this time. Hydra Bonus
This bonus is a picks game – though a dramatic and entertaining one which can have a randomly awarded twist. To trigger it, you need a special hydra symbol on reels 1 and 5. You now go to a screen showing an animated multi-headed sea monster, which you need to shoot with arrows. You get a prize for each head you shoot and multipliers for heads you slash.

Compared to the variety of bonus features, the base game is very much regular. There are 25 win-lines (which are adjustable) this time – with your choice of line bet from 1c and up. Dramatic Design of the Prince of Olympus Slot
For the crispness of the graphics and general dramatic feel, this is the best slot in the PlayTech Age of the Gods range. The setting is similar to several others in this range, with stone pillars around the reels and an ancient city beyond. Above the reels the 4 different ‘Power’ jackpots are listed.
Reels have a purple glow, these are dark, which sets of the gold symbol well. The gold cherries stand out, these look similar to standard slot cherries in some ways – though are very gold. I also like the wolf-creatures… to say they look ‘a little upset’ would be an understatement!
