Planet Mark’s Picks: 3 Yggdrasil Slots Well Worth Taking for a Spin

Picking 3 of from Yggdrasil was more difficult than usual, there are a lot of titles I like! Towards the end of this page I have covered more titles, which are broader in their topics. For now, these are the games I find myself going to over and over:

#1 – Vikings Go Bezerk (and Wild!)

There are two slots in this series. I’m picking ‘Bezerk’ rather than wild, as the meters under the reels is a great feature. As you play, wheels turn orange, leading one of 4 characters to go Bezerk! This is great fun and will lead to them killing the evil Siren (like an evil Mermaid) and adding sticky wilds to the reels. This is a visual treat, which is hard to do justice to in mere words!

#2 – Cyrus the Virus

Cyrus the Virus Slot Yggdrasil Gaming This one is my pick for mobile slot play. Viruses start off plain, though when you win with them, each gets a distinct character. This game is simple, yet very entertaining (perfect for mobiles). There is a wild which fills the middle reel with coloured tentacles. Wins come from both directions, and worms poke their heads out of a cell-like side area when wins are possible. A simple, yet brilliant game which looks like nothing else around!

#3 – Holmes and the Stolen Stones

What Makes Yggdrasil Slots Different?

Being such a new company, the one area which needs growth is when it comes to their Jackpot slots. Their first Jackpot slot, ‘Joker Millions’ has proven to be a popular pick. The emphasis for the game is still on gameplay however, as Fredrik Elmqvist, CEO of the company states here - “Progressive jackpots are an excellent marketing tool for operators, but we didn’t want to make Joker Millions all about the jackpot.
