Acid Days Design Elements
While you spin there is a chilled-out riff with a synth going on. This is replaced by rapid piano keystrokes when you click the pink spin button. Rival Gaming has done a brilliant job with the graphics for this game. There are swirls of colours, those instantly recognisable 1960’s fonts, and cool minor touches like the flower line markers.
Symbols are simple enough. The people are caricatures, and the background colours different enough to keep the reels feeling too crowded.
When you win with the flowers, the entire screen gets filled with flowers for a few seconds. This will happen for 3 of a kind or more – and might surprise you the first time. There are plenty of other smaller animations. An example includes some musical notes coming from the tambourine when this is involved in a win.
Graphics in the bonus game are basic, though this did not take away from the entertaining idea of travelling to the summer of love for me!
