Steampunk Time Machines: How a Switch in Time Works

To explore the different time zones, you need to enter the time machine. To do this, 3 special time-machine symbols must appear on the reels. You will then go to a second screen bonus game. A Stitch in Time: Future Reels
Here the Victoriana gets replaced by green long-faced aliens, space ships and jagged futuristic crystals. The scientist gets replaced by a cyborg, and the egg timer wild with an odd looking purple contraption (this still has the biggest prize).
You will spin on these reels as if it were the base game, though there is one big difference. If you hit 3+ of the time machines, you get to play a new and interactive bonus game. This involves shooting cyborgs, who are apparently threatening the entire human race! You take a first-person shooter perspective, and scroll around, blasting all the cyborgs to accumulate wins.
The twist in this story is that after the bonus (and credit award), you will return to Victorian times.
A Switch in Time: Past Reels
When you travel to the past, there are dinosaurs, rocks and a goofy looking sabre-toothed tiger on the reels. In a thoughtful touch, the wilds here have fire symbols. There are still free spins, which all come with a 2x multiplier in this part of the game.
Once again, you continue to play in the past until you hit 3 of the time machine symbols. These will then take you to another new bonus game. You see 3 people and have to do battle with a T-Rex. The graphics are chunky, and the animations odd, though this does manage to stay entertaining. You pick, pistol, spear or flame from a panel, and that person attacks the T-Rex. It also attacks back. Each person and the dinosaur has a health meter. Once it goes to zero, the dinosaur dramatically dies. You get awarded credits at the end depending on how many you killed. Once again, you now return to the main game.
Design Overview: Older, Though Well Produced
As far as the graphics go, this slot is about ready for an upgrade. The symbols are smart, though these and the animations do give away that this is not the very latest slot. I love the time travel sequences, and the inside of the machine with the buttons. This is proper mad professor territory.
Of the bonus games, the cyborg attach is probably the best. First person shoot-em-ups certainly help to add a little variety to your online slot gaming.
