The first ever edition of Wicked Winnings set the scene for the entire series of games.
The splash screen for that original game shows the devilish female lounging across a chez longue with piles of cash and flames all around her. You already know that this is a ‘hot to touch’ game.
Like many other online slots, this original game featured a 5x3 reel set up. Within this set up there is the Reel Power format, meaning you win when lining up matching symbols on consecutive reels. This effectively gives you 243 ways to win at each spin.
Throughout the game, the leading lady is stacked and also acts as the wild. She appears on reels 2, 3 and 4 only, but if all of those reels are stacked with her femme fatale image you are promised a large win. There is also a free spins feature to be won, where you are given 7 free spins.

This version of the game sees the first major change take place, with the addition of a sixth reel. Suddenly, instead of the 243 ways to win, this is boosted to 729 ways. All of a sudden, lining up the same symbol on all six reels can offer mega wins. For example, if you line up the raven symbol on all six reels you are looking at a mammoth pay of 8,000 coins.
Wicked Winnings IV
The biggest change in this game is when you activate the free spins bonus feature. Instead of a single set of reels, you are now facing four sets in reels in a square formation. In this feature you have the ‘Sticky Stack’ addition. Any time the leading lady fills an entire stack on the main set of reels in the top left, she will then move into the same position on one of the other sets of reels. The good news is that she will stay there for the entirety of the feature. If you’re lucky enough to line up those stacks early, you are in a great position for a series of mega wins.
Really Wicked Winnings
The latest version of the game has taken the series up a notch again. The graphics are hotter than ever before and the game has the most modern feel of all. In some ways it is a throwback to the original game. The base game sticks to the same five-reel format and the reel power winning system. However, in this game you have the re-spins that were introduced in later versions, as well as an all-new free spins bonus feature.
At first the feature seems much like any other, with 8 free spins coming your way. But as you play the reels expand upwards and each reel can become as high as 7 symbols tall.
