Ohh Ahh Dracula Slot Review

How and Where Play the Amazing Ohh Ahh Dracular Online

Count Dracula first appeared as the title character in the book by Bram Stoker in 1897. The aristocratic Dracula has been the feature of many books, films and even songs over the years and this incarnation of the famous Count sees him appear on the reels of a slot. This slot which began life as a popular live casino game, pokes a humorous look at the genre, Dracula here appearing in cartoon style wearing a large pair of glasses, and is joined by symbols such as a werewolf, a buxom blonde and a haunting castle. The game has a ‘high roller’ option where you can pay a set fee for a select number of spins and a free spins bonus round where the wilds can be plentiful.

How to Win at Ooh Aah Dracula

Wins will come your way when landing three or more of any of the symbols from left to right on one of the 10 win lines. The highest wins will come your way when hitting five of the ‘Ooh Aah Dracula’ symbols in a row, this paying out an impressive 5,000 coins. The jovial Dracula pays 1,000 coins for the same five, the castle pays 500 while the werewolf and the blonde pay 200. The symbols are completed by the playing card characters from 10 to Ace.

The wild symbol (you can’t miss it because it has the word ‘wild’ emblazoned across it) will substitute for any other symbol on the reels apart from the bonus one.

The final symbol at the game is a ‘stake through a heart’ and will activate the bonus feature if appearing three or more times across the reels. This bonus round changes based upon exactly how many of the bonus scatter symbols you land.

3 Hearts – You’ll receive 15 free spins with one symbol chosen at random as an additional wild.

4 Hearts – You’ll have the same 15 free spins, but at the end you’ll have the opportunity of exchanging the win for ten free spins with two additional wilds.

5 Hearts – This is the same as the prize for landing 4 hearts, however at the end you’ll have the further option of exchanging your win for 5 free spins with three additional wilds.

Whilst playing the bonus round you’ll be helped by a ‘best strategy indicator’, which shows a bony arm coming out of a grave. If the hand points to the right of the gravestone the best strategy will be to continue onto the next round, while the hand pointing to the left states that the best strategy is to collect.

How Ooh Aah Dracula Works

This vampire based slot has five reels and a set number of 10 win lines. The minimum stake per line is just 1c and with a maximum stake of £50 per line it’s clear this game is ideal for both the recreational and the more serious casino user. There is a Hi Roller option too, where you can play 5 spins for 20x your stake or 5 spins for 30x your stake. These five spins have a 99% Return to Player percentage and at the end you’ll gain an additional prize of either a Graveyard Bonus or a ‘Super’ Graveyard Bonus which is revealed after selecting a gravestone.

The autoplay option is a handy extra, one click of the button bringing up a gravestone and the option of enjoying 10, 15, 20 or 25 free spins.

The slot certainly has a fun feel, the cartoon characters frequenting the reels giving the game a nice sense of humor. All of the symbols are well designed and this also applies to the playing card symbols which might have blood dripping from them, or vampire bats hanging down from them. The reels are understandably black but the slot is quite colorful around the edges, the backdrop featuring a sand colored brick castle.  The accompanying sound is a fitting high temp organ song, interrupted by the occasional sound of a bell clanging.

Ooh Aah Dracula Slot Overview

The Ooh Aah Dracula slot, which can be enjoyed at the Ladbrokes online casino, is certainly a grower. At first glance the game looks quite straightforward but you’ll quickly realize that the game is a little more complicated than it appears due to the bonus – this only makes the game better by giving it more depth. The humor at the game only makes it better and if you want to have some fun with the undead, this might be the best place for it!
