Magnetic Wilds in this Lab Themed Simple Slot Game
Compared to some of the more epic storyline slots from Net Entertainment – Attraction is simple. The setting is a physics lab, filled with meters, wires and weird and wonderful instruments. Around the outside of the reels is a metal frame, where a special dish shaped instrument moves each time you spin. This will attract any wilds, with an entertaining animation.
I found there were sequences of small wins, before the attractor feature came into its own. You get a respin with new wilds in place when this comes into play. What you really want is to hit more wilds on those respins. As you get more and more coverage, those wins can really start to add up!

Stripping Back the Workings of this Slot to the Bare Atoms
Attraction may have quirky game-play, though the reels look much the same as any NetEnt slot. There are 5 reels, and each has 3 rows of symbols on them. The number of win-lines is slightly unusual. Most slots have 9, 15 or 20+ on this setup – Attraction chooses 10. This lower number means you’ll have a bigger coin bet for each line (which can mean bigger prizes).
The usual combination of coin size, level (multiplier), bet max (sets you to level 10) and auto-play can be found in the control panel.
Gadgets and Playing Cards: Attraction Slot Winning Symbols
This slot has some of the more unusual winning symbols I have seen online. They are all gadgets for measuring atoms, and some of them look what I’d call ‘cartoon sci-fi’. Your biggest prizes will come via a red device. This has a spiral coming out of it which reminds me of B-movie ray guns. With 500 coins for 5 of a kind, you will not mind getting zapped.
A computer monitor with levers on the ‘keyboard’ comes next, followed by a yellow device which may or may not be based on a Geiger counter! Competing these crazy devices is a green one which looks like an alarm clock, and a purple hand-held which looks like an amp meter.
Playing card symbols have been designed to look like they are rivetted together, all made of dull metal. Aces down to 10’s are on the reels, providing those smaller though incrementally important wins.
Wilds and the Attraction Respins
This game only has one feature, with everything taking place right there on the reels. You will see a dish (like a small satellite dish) move around the outside of the reels as you spin. There is a metal plate on every reel, and 3 each side covering the rows. The dish shines a light over whichever reel or row it points at each spin.
Most of the time, nothing else happens. The symbols line up (or don’t) and you move to the next spin. If a wild lands on the reel / row which is lit up, then the feature kicks in. The ray replicates the wild, covering any symbol spots between the wild and it in more wilds. These get a solid border.
Next, you get a respin (a single free spin) with these wilds held in place.
Again, normally, that is your lot. You collect the new wins and move on. Occasionally, you’ll get another wild in the respin ‘beam’. Now you repeat the respin with even more wilds stuck to the reels.
Keep in mind that those wilds have the single biggest win, replacing the red gadget at 500 coins for 5 of a kind.
Physics Lab Design
I have never been into a physics lab, nor particularly want to. The opening sequence shows what I imagine such a lab would look like. There are banks of instruments, with a lot of dials, plus machines with looped wires all in a row.
My favourite part of the design is the animation when those atom wilds get caught in the beam. You see a cloud turn into a face, which is quickly followed by the replicating wilds spreading in whichever direction.
Symbols are fun, though not massively detailed. It must have been enjoyable creating them!
Will You be Strangely Drawn to the Attraction Slot?
This is a one feature game which is certainly worth a spin. It is ideal for quick sessions, especially compared to those slots where you don’t have the time to crawl through progressive bonus games.
The attraction feature can turn any spin into a big win fast – particularly if you get a repeat. With a wide range of bet sizes, this slot will not break the bank either.
