Vampire Princess of Darkness Slot Review - PlayTech

The Undead Roam the Land in the Dead of Night in this PlayTech Design

Vampire Princess of Darkness Slot ReviewVampire Princess of Darkness is a slot for those of you who like their slots dark. The Princess herself rules the game, a beautiful dark-haired vampire, who, if you look closely, has blood dripping from her mouth – she has a wild side too. Look out for her imposing dwelling, a black castle every bit as haunting as any you’ll find a horror movie. Also appearing on the reels are a bat, a crucifix, a gravestone, onions and a goblet of red wine (well, the liquid in the goblet is a blood red colour, so it must be wine, right?).

Reasons to Give Vampire Princess of Darkness Slots a Spin

Vampire Princess of Darkness is a deliciously dark PlayTech slot, where you’ll enter a graveyard in the main feature. Here are the highlights:

  • A five-reel slot with a simple and stark 5 win-lines.
  • Play in the dark woods in between gnarled trees, with the full moon shining bright.
  • See the Vampire Princess use her wild powers to transform more spins into wins.
  • Find yourself facing rows and rows of gravestones in the feature – a rewarding but chilling feature.

The Haunting Pick Me Graveyard Bonus Feature

Look out for the bonus symbol featuring a gravestone. The letters R.I.P sit below an image of a demon, while red roses add an eerie colour to the symbol as they wrap around the gravestone. This bonus symbol appears on reels 1, 3 and 5 only and you’ll need it to land on each of the three reels to activate the feature. See the gravestone appear on reels 1 and 3 and reel 5 will slow down, adding a nice level of tension to the spin, as you aim to land the third, feature starting gravestone.

On entering the feature itself you’re faced with row upon row of gravestones. The first row contains six gravestones and you’ll pick one of the six. Win a cash amount and you’ll proceed to the next row but unveil ‘collect’ and the feature is over. Each successive row contains fewer gravestones, until you reach the fifth and final row, where you’ll have a choice of just two. With bigger and better rewards as you move through the levels, a nice prize awaits if you avoid the one ‘collect’ symbol on the final row.

Reels PlayTech Vampire Princess

Darkness and Demons in this 5 Line Base Game

This Playtech design features the very popular 5x3 reel configuration. Unusually however, the game plays host to just 5 win-lines, a much lower number than you’d normally find with the same set up – making for a slot ideal for those who enjoy more spins for their cash.

The princess herself acts as the wild symbol (you won’t find too many characters THIS wild at online slots), substituting for any other symbol apart from the scatter.

Your highest paying symbol is the dark mansion, which can be entered via the large black gates, flanked by a pair of gargoyles. An upside-down hanging bat, the ‘red wine’ filled goblet (we’ll stick to that story for now), a crucifix and cloves of garlic complete the themed symbols. The final symbols are the Ace and King playing card letters, each in blood red and dripping ominously.

Pay Table Vampire Princess of Darkness

Shadowy, Chilling Design of the Vampire Princess of Darkness Slot

Vampire Princess of Darkness has that classic Vampire story look. The backdrop features a scene in the woods, with the dark mansion in the far distance. The moon is full and lends some light to the scene, with silhouettes of gnarled trees shooting up into the night sky. Look closely at the trunk of the tree on the left and you’ll see a pair of eyes appear occasionally.

Check out the animation when a hand emerges from the grave in the bonus symbol, while a close-up view of the Vampire Princess wild shows her darker side. A haunting soundtrack only adds to the delightful and dark feel.

Will Vampire Princess of Darkness Give Your Bankroll a Chill or a Thrill?

Vampire Princess of Darkness is an enjoyable horror themed slot with an appealing starkness. With just 5 win-lines in play, you’ll receive more spins for your cash, while the pay outs remain on the large side – always a good combination. The game has a single feature, where you’ll enter the graveyard, picking up prizes as you pick out those headstones. Make it all the way to the end and this can be a money spinner. An enjoyable game from PlayTech, with added bite!
