Turbo Sit N Go Rakes – Observations On The Above Charts
- The benefits of reduced rakes for Turbo SNGs start at the $6 level, below this the rakes are higher than the ‘industry standard’ 10%.
- The gaps between levels at Poker Stars mean that lower limit Turbo SNG players are moving up faster (from 6 to 15) than at Full Tilt (from 6 to 11).
- The fees at Full Tilt are lower at the higher levels than both Bodog and Stars.
- The overall differences are small, meaning that other factors including the number of winning ‘regulars’, bonus clearance rates and software preferences are probably just as important to the high volume player.
Other Factors Important To Choosing The Best Site For Turbo SNGs
- Bonuses: While Bodog offer an ‘unlimited’ 10% bonus on your first deposit this is realistically only $50 for most players. Stars $50 bonus is fast to clear and they have the best VIP club benefits around. Full Tilt offer a 100% to $600 bonus (also fast to clear) and is undoubtedly the top site on this measure alone.
- Winning Regulars: Bodog comes out on top based on this measure – the opponents at all levels being markedly weaker than the other sites. Stars has a lot of regulars making the games above $25+2 require better table selection. There are less regulars at Full Tilt but at the mid-to higher limits you will need to practice table selection, especially during off-peak hours.
- Multi-Tabling: Stars and Tilt both get 10/10 for the ability to multi-table. Bodog do not have the same volumes but those wishing to play 3 tables should be able to get their games especially in the evenings.
Conclusions – Best Turbo Sit N Go Poker Site
It’s close! Based on the rakes we see little difference, the jump from $6 to $15 at Stars pushes us slightly to favor Full Tilt, the $11+1 Turbo sit and go tournaments are soft and have a reasonable rake. Bodog have the softest opponents by a long way and are a the best option for those players wishing to play only a couple of tables at a time.
