Your Complete Guide To Sit And Goes At ACR Poker On The Winning Poker Network

Quick Summary:  America’s Cardroom and the Winning Poker Network have been on a real tear recently, and are now the third largest US-friendly poker site after Bovada and BetOnline (Chico Network). With this extra volume comes a lot more action in their Sit n Go tournament area – action which has been given a big boost by the weekly ‘Sit N Crush’ promo + generous player rewards.

Sit N Crush is a progressive leader board, where the total goes up the more games are played. At the end of each week there are cash prizes (you’ll get paid by the end of each Monday), plus a decent prize pool tournament. Remember this is on top of your regular rewards.

There are two new reasons Sit N Go fans should check out America's Cardroom. First there are now lottery Sit N Goes (some with up to 1000x prizes, others as qualifiers to live events such as the World Series). New players also get up to $50 in Tournament Bucks when you deposit for hte first time - you’ll also get a 100% welcome bonus (up to $1000) and participate in the solid tiered loyalty program called ‘Elite Benefits’.

For me, the best thing about this network is that they are still growing. 2024 could see them hitting the #2 spot for traffic, and with more players they will be able to run bigger and better promotions than ever. Make sure you check out www.armericascardroom.eu for yourself soon!

Below is my detailed look at the Sit N Go Tournaments on the Winning Poker Network and ACR Poker. You will find this in my standard format, so you can easily compare the different sites. First some screen-shots, then 1-table ‘standard’ games followed by the different variations, next the multi-table SNGs and then my ‘5 Reasons To Choose ACR’ at the end.

America’s Cardroom Sit N Go Tournaments – The 1 Table Games

ACR Jackpot SNG PokerTable sizes for the standard games are 9-handed, 6-max and heads-up. The smallest buy-ins are $1.50c+12c, less than 10% rake is good at the micro buy-in levels, many sites have 15% or even 20% here. You’ll find $3+25c, $5+45c, $10+90c and $15+$1.40c levels – I particularly like the small gap from $10.90 to $16.40, which makes moving up the levels a little less of a jump than at many sites who go straight to $22. After the $21,75 level you’ll find $32,75, $54,75 and $86,50 games. At this stage 4-max turbos which pay 2 spots 70% / 30% make an entrance. There are higher buy-in games, though not too much action there to report at the moment.

Variations

Standard variations include turbo (5 min blinds) and Hyper-Turbo (500 starting chips, 2 minute blinds). The fees for these games are smaller than for the standard Sit N Goes. You can play Omaha and Omaha Hi-Lo in the different formats too – nothing like a Hyper-Turbo PLO8 game as a refreshing break from your usual games!

Satellites are the other key variation. These games are to the bigger buy-in tournament like the weekly Million Dollar Sunday or the Online Super Series tournament event.

Lottery Sit N Goes: These are 3 handed super turbo games with randomly assigned prize pools. They work by giving 2x the buy-in the majority of the time to the winner, and using the extra buy-ins to give away an occasional huge prize of between 5x and 1000x your buy-in. Since these games attract a lot of the more casual players / gamblers, they are very soft too.

America’s Cardroom Sit N Go Tournaments – Multi-Table Games

Multi-table Sit n Goes are run as ‘On-Demand’ tournaments on the Winning Poker Network. They have a specified number of players to start (can be 12 (2x 6-max) or 18), once they get started there is late registration available for up to 6 blind levels. These games count towards the Sit N Crush leader board promotion, and if you hit peak times can get anywhere between 40 and 90 players. You can try this format very cheaply, with the smallest buy-in at just $0.55c and entries going through to the $11 level.

America’s Cardroom Sit N Go Tournaments – Planet Mark’s 5 Reasons To Play

I’m very positive about the Sit N Goes at ACR. This really was a cash game players network for a long while, and they have just started to gain big enough player numbers to explore bigger tournaments and some excellent Sit N Go promos. My thought is that this will attract more SNG fans from other networks – having a snowball effect on what ACR can offer.

Here are my 5 good reasons to choose this network:

#1 – Tournament Bucks: When you deposit you'll get cards worth between $1 and $6 in tournament dollars, up to a total of $50. These T$ can be used to buy-in to any tournament - and the prize money you'll get will be very much real cash!

#2 – Sit N Crush: This promo is a genius idea – you can see the weekly prize pool growing at the top of the lobby screen, and this does not require any additional contribution from the players. If you play, you are in with a shot at some great cash rewards  + a weekly tournament entry with a fat prize pool too.

#3 – Easy Games: I was concerned that the games would feature too many ‘regs’, attracted by the rakeback and leader board. Compared to places like PokerStars and Full Tilt, I rate these games as easy to beat, especially at the $11 and under levels.

#4 – Great Promos: Every time ACR poker release a new promo, it feels like it is getting bigger than the last one. The Online Super Series is awesome, and you can qualify yourself to the WSOP. Add to this ‘The Beast’ for those who also enjoy cash games and a ton of smaller on-off offers too. Make sure you keep an eye on the America’s Cardroom homepage for the latest promotional offers.

#5 – Continued Growth: Each month, the player numbers are rising – thanks to Visa cards being accepted easily and those great incentives. This is already creating a ‘virtuous circle’ effect, and as 2024 goes in we should see bigger and better tournaments and promos as a result.

The lottery Sit N Goes could easily be added as a 6th entry here too.

I have only been playing on this network for a short while, and already I am a big fan of their games. Check out www.americascardroom.eu for yourself, because when you combine their offers, you’ll find this a massively profitable place to play.
