Full Tilt Poker’s World Series Satellite Schedule
Update: Satellites for the World Series did not run at Full Tilt last year, I will keep an eye on things this time around and let you know if this changes. If you are outside the US and looking for a solid site where Main Event Qualifiers are running, then I recommend reading this article covering 888 Poker WSOP qualifiers.
Full Tilt are once again making a big play for World Series participants in 2011, with huge publicity – especially for the televised tables – who can blame them! There are a wide choice of qualification paths, including $1 seats, Steps SNGs and many different shapes and sizes of direct qualifiers – including some with big guarantees.
The recent pullout from the US might yet affect the number of seats which are guaranteed in individual qualifiers. However, you can be sure that Full Tilt will be doing all it can to send worldwide players to Las Vegas!
World Series Of Poker Qualifiers At Full Tilt Poker – The Prize Package
Full Tilts prize package is worth $12k, this includes the $10k buy-in to the main event and $2000 in spending money / expenses and 5 days free accommodation at the Rio. Winners of this package will also get the chance to have a dinner with Full Tilt pros and access to a special hospitality suite at the Rio.
As an extra bonus, finishing in the money will bag you a 2012 World Series seat for free, and the special ‘Main Event Mania’ promo could see you win up to $10 million if you win!!
World Series Of Poker Qualifiers At Full Tilt Poker – Satellite Options
A lot to get though here, with options to suit every bankroll and (almost) every game taste!
Shootout Qualifiers: Running daily, these satellites take the form of 2 single table SNGs, the winners of the first table meet at the 2nd where they compete for a seat. Entry is $216 for these events, though there are sub-qualifiers running for them from just $1.
Regular Tournaments: 5 times a week Full Tilt are running direct qualifiers, these have buy-ins ranging from $216 through to $1060 and guarantee between 1 and 5 main event packages. As with all of the qualifiers, sub-qualifiers run to let those players with smaller bankrolls take a shot, this includes MTT and Steps SNG satellites.
150 Seat Guaranteed Super-Satellite: This is scheduled for the 26th June and has a direct buy-in of $640 (again, plenty of sub-qualifiers). With the US pullout this may change – maybe down to a 100 seat guarantee instead. I’ll keep an eye and update here is this number changes.
$1 Main Event Seats: How about this for value! Each Sunday at 13:30ET there are satellites costing just $1 which offer a minimum of 3 Main Event packages. These are in multi-entry format, meaning you can buy-in as many times as you wish – this is a real chance to win $12k for just $1, and – yes – sub-qualifiers are running too.
Steps SNGs: Starting at just $3, Steps allow you to climb a ladder of SNGs to the big buy-in games where Main Event Seats are awarded. What I like about these games is that there are exit points along the way – so you can switch to MTT qualifiers at the $26, $75 or $216 levels with Steps tickets.
Main Event Qualifiers At Full Tilt – Extra Bonuses And Next Steps
Full Tilt have a number of extras this year, including 50 completely free seats through the ‘race for the main event’ challenge. They are also running ‘Main Event Mania’ a bonus promo which pays out huge cash prizes for winning + entry into a massive freeroll + a 2012 package just for finishing in the money this time!
Finally I should mention the ‘seat challenge’ which gives you tokens to a $35k multi-entry freeroll for every package you win.
I have to say that Full Tilt seem to have beaten the competition once again with both the variety and the value added for their WSOP 2011 qualifiers. Click this link now to check out the full schedule at Full Tilt Poker now – we’ll see you in the main event!
