2016 Review For RedKings Poker – Now on the MicroGaming Poker Network!
Planet Mark’s Summary: Red Kings Poker are now part of the MicroGaming Poker Network. This is a positive development - especially as a lot of MicroGaming (MPN) sites are big sports betting and casino brands - creating a recreational player pool for the associated poker rooms. MPN has been growing recently and have expanded their SNGs and tournament schedule. I'm happy to see that Red Kings Poker have kept their extra bonus the first time you get dealt the 2 red kings in a cash game (extra cash if you lose the hand!).
As well as the soft opposition, you’ll also find a very generous welcome bonus scheme, starting with a welcome match of up to €1,000. These bonuses continue for existing players with a generous loyalty scheme offering rakeback (capped at the 30% maximum allowed on the network), tournament entries, leaderboards, races and even bad beat bonuses. Red Kings always had a good list of one-off promos while at OnGame, and I expect to see this continue on the MicroGaming Poker Network.
I'm tipping MPN for further growth in 2017 - and tipping Red Kings as the go-to site on this network. Check out the latest promos for yourself now at www.redkings.com!PLAY POKER NOW!

RedKings Poker Review 2016 - Spotlight On Cash Games
Cash games at Red Kings Poker are all played in Euros, with table stakes starting at just €0.01/€0.02 ranging all the way up to €50/€100. The 6-max games are the busiest, while you’ll also find both heads up tables and full ring 9 player tables. The majority of the traffic comes at the lower stakes, with no trouble finding a game at levels up €5/€10 at any time of day. No Limit Hold’em trumps every other game in terms of traffic, but Fixed Limit Hold’em, Omaha, 7 Card stud, 5 Card Stud and 5 Card Draw are also available. You’ll also find options for deep stacked games and turbo games available in the cash games section
As well as the standard cash games, you can also enjoy ‘Blaze Poker’, a fast paced game where all of the players are pooled together. This is an entertaining fast-fold poker variation where the moment you fold, another hand comes along, meaning many more hands per hour and a great opportunity to increase that win rate..
RedKings Poker Review 2016 - Spotlight On Tournaments
At Red Kings you’ll find a variety of poker tournaments available for players of all levels. The majority of these are focused at the lower stakes, with the most highly populated games coming in the €1 to €20 range. Heading into the tournament section you’ll see that the games are divided up into guaranteed, satellites, freeroll and special sections, although hitting the ‘all’ tab will display every tournament available.
The satellite tournaments are some of the loosest you will find anywhere. These start with stakes as low as just €0.22 offering the opportunity of entry into a number of high stakes online tournaments as well as land based events. The Sunday Showdown is the 'Sunday Major' at MicroGaming, This has a buy-in of $215 and a guaranteed prize pool of €25,000. The land based tournaments come from the MicroGaming Poker Network Poker Tour with events in places such as Vienna, Morocco, Tallinn, Dublin and London. You can qualify for all of these online.
The largest tournament available at Red Kings is the monthly €60,000 Masters with a buy-in of €320. This big money event sees a starting stack of 7,500 chips and 15 minute levels.
RedKings Poker Review 2016 - Spotlight On Sit N Goes
With regular, turbo, super turbo, bounty and heads up games available, there is plenty of variety on offer in the sit and go section of Red Kings. You can also enjoy the innovative ‘Fish Party’ games (lottery SNGs), where you’re joined by 2 other players and competing for a random prize pool, which can run into many thousands, even at the lowest stakes. I have created specific SNG-focused reviews for all the main sites - you can read my Red Kings Sit and Go Review here: MPN SNGs Review At Red Kings Poker.
RedKings Poker Review 2016 - Software And Playability
Every room on the MicroGaming Poker Network use the same software, which is branded with the individual site's logo and coloring. The games are smooth and very playable and in the main menu of the site you’ll find you can set the games up the way you want using the ‘preferences’ option. Here you can change the sound settings, set up tournament reminders, save hand histories and toggle the site messages on and off. For me the MPN software compares well with other sites, both in the looks (colourful!) and the smoothness of the navigation / action.
As well as the download version you can also play directly within the browser at Red Kings, while mobile gaming is also available on your phone or tablet.
RedKings Poker Review 2016 - Bonuses, Incentives And Promotions
One of the main reasons you should consider Red Kings is the generous range of bonuses and offers when you’ve signed up. These bonuses begin with the eye catching welcome package. This starts with a 200% welcome bonus up to a maximum of €1,000 and is joined by entry to new player freeroll tournaments with a value of over €10,000, as well as a free €5 tournament token. New players will also enter the Red Kings loyalty program, where you can enjoy rakeback of up to 30% (this is tiered, so you'll earn more as you climb the loyalty levels).
Existing players can also enjoy a long list of offers and promotions. There are a wide range of freerolls offering both direct cash prizes and tickets into tournaments, while regular players will enjoy the €2,000 weekly points races, with 50 players winning a prize every week. Bad beat Jackpots are always popular and you’ve got two chances at Red Kings. Opt in and you’ll have an opportunity of a jackpot prize if you lose a hand with any 4 of a kind, while a special bonus prize of €500 can be yours if you lose a hand with the two red kings.
2 Red Kings Bonus: The first time you get dealt the 2 red kings in a real money cash game you'll get a special €300 bonus. If you lose the hand (no disclosing allowed) at showdown, this is increased to €500. This is a great way to give your intial bankroll a boost. You do need to write and claim this bonus from support (full details on the Red Kings Poker website).
The Red Kings VIP club is a loyalty program with 4 levels (Royal, Jacks, Queens and Kings) where the more you play the more you’ll earn, with rakeback, bonuses, free bets and spins at the sportsbook and casino available, as well as additional tournament tickets.
