Doyles Room 2011 Review - Tournaments + Sit N Goes
When you click the ‘Tournaments’ tab in the main lobby a new lobby window pops up – which is a little disconcerting at first. Nice idea to keep the tournaments separated though, and there are plenty of ways to sort the selection in the new lobby starting with ‘Scheduled Tournaments’ and ‘Sit N Goes’.
There are buy-ins ranging from $1 up to $109, with the games up to $11 attracting 100 to 120 players and the bigger $20 to $50 buy-ins 50 or 60, evening games and those with the bigger guarantees attracting bigger fields. In addition to the standard freezeouts and rebuys there are bounty tournaments running, and what they call ‘ridiculously deep stacked’ games too which have a million chip starting stacks! Satellites are running, these starting from 25c which feed into bigger buy-in qualifiers.
Weekend big tournaments might not match the Sunday Million, however the $109 entry $15k guaranteed Sunday has some bigger payouts and there is a Saturday $7.5k guaranteed and nightly $3.5k too.
Sit N Goes see some action at the lower levels, with the $11 and under games the most popular. There are double or nothing games, turbo and super-turbo, heads-up and also the deeper stacked ‘Final Table Experience’ Sit N Goes available. A decent enough selection, though not quite busy enough to warrant a separate SNG review of its own.

Doyles Room 2011 - Software, Services And Deposit Options
Doyle’s Room software was better than I expected. The animations for the cards and simple things like the way the dealer buttons move make up for a plain-looking table. I’m happy to give this an 8/10 with potential for improvement in the sorting of the lobby one area they could certainly look at.
Service comes via 24 hour e-mail support and also live chat support – it is right there on the lobby, though I did not have any reason to call them myself just yet.
There are plenty of deposit methods available at Doyle’s Room, with credit cards, Western Union, MoneyGram all possible for US Players. There is a minimum deposit and withdrawal amount of $50, with cashouts being handled by check, transfer (there is a pick-up fee) or e-wallet (I’m guessing e-wallets are for players outside the US). One thing which Doyle’s Room emphasize is to contact their support to make your deposit easy… I look at this as a plus, they have no business without deposits – so ensuring staff are on hand 24/7 to deal with this has to oil the wheels with information it might not be possible to publish!!

Doyle's Room Detailed Review – Planet Mark's Rating + Next Steps
OK, recap of the incentives first… That’s a 100% match up to $1000 on first deposits (no coupon required, we all get this!). Then a bunch of ongoing offers including the ‘Free Parking’, $30k points race, BBJ, Bankroll Builder tournaments and several more. A nice collection which really works more for the one-off promos than the regular bonuses. Definitely worth keeping an eye on the website for these to catch the latest and greatest.
My summary would give plusses for the software – much better than expected, a plus for the cash games and smaller buy-in tournaments too… soft games definitely a big reason to play. Neutral on the SNG front, where multi-tabling would be difficult. Overall I think that the 7.8 / 10 based on the numbers is fair. If Doyle’s Room can continue picking up US and worldwide players they can be a smaller contender and creep into the 8's!
