Moving to the Cereus Poker network has lead to many small improvements in the UB software client. These include changes in the lobby and at the tables in addition to some innovative and even quirky game-play features.

Unfortunately the lobby still has the ‘cramped’ feeling of the old UB, though the inclusion of more tabs by which the tables can be sorted (in place of the old drop-down menus) is a definite improvement. Tables maintain the basic look and feel, however there are some changes – for example the ‘tick’ when a player checked is now replaced with the word ‘Check’ in big letters. There are many table options now available including a choice of views and avatars. The chat has also changed, with the inclusion of speech bubbles in the software.

Overall the move has not adversely affected what was one of the better software clients in the poker industry.
