Time for another of my intermittent Planet Corp updates today, letting you know what is happening behind the scenes with SNG Planet and the many other sites which now make up our network. As usual there is a lot of stuff happening, here is an update of the main ones…

First up, this site. As many of you will know we are working on a new look at the moment and at the same time looking to improve the navigation and add some social features too. The news is that this is going just great, I personally love the new darker blue look, the the use of  ’sliders’ to show people what is on a page without crowding you with options works great too. We will be creating some new ’sub-mains’ for the SNG section at launch with the new look, one for Bubble-specific advice and one for Multi-Table SNGs, these should help with the ‘problem’ (haha) of having too many articles. Currently making great strides with this, though it is never going to be as quick as I would like – a reasonable estimate is 2 weeks to launch!

Along with the new look there is a new 4-part course to be released, known as the ‘$16 An Hour SNG Blueprint’. This is complete and is currently in the hands of a mystery ‘SNG Consultant’ for checking and extra help on some of the math parts. Will put together the final version next week and then one last proof-read to ensure it is ready for the launch of the new version. We have decided how people on our mailing list can get one without getting 2 newsletters each month (a unique page, will explain at the time).

We have an advert coming out today in a Hungarian whats-on type magazine (it has a huge readership), this is for a new Hungarian writer, I have been guilty of neglecting this part of the business so time to make ammends. If you are Hungarian, know poker well and can write clearly then let me know, I’ll pay a pretty decent wage by local standards, though not the UK or US rates!

As you can imagine this project is taking up a lot of our time, however we are working on some other projects too. Our Portuguese ‘Poker Bonus Club’ version is in the making, and we have started adding 2 news posts a week to thepokerbonusnetwork.com too – this site is gaining a little age at the moment and will come into the spotlight for a big revamp in a couple of months time.

We are continuing to add pages to some of the smaller sites, rakeback-planet is growing nicely, our cereus site just had a boost and the smart looking Ubuntu-poker site is now in line for a content boost too. Tools rethink this month coming is the last thing to mention, some tools which were popular a few years ago are no longer selling, so it will be thanks and goodbye to SNG Shark and Texas Calculatem (well, not goodbye completely, we will just remove them from the main best poker tools page and emphasise some more up to date ones instead).

Quite a short post by Planet Corp update standards, will leave it there though – huge amount of work outstanding on the new projects!
