Cashing In 100,000 Gold Coins

At the weekend I decided it was time to cash in my pile of Gold Coins, accumulated without really trying over at Titan Poker. I got to 143,000ish, and had been meaning to see what I could get for them for a while. Now, it would be great to share with you a tale of a big fat bonus or Sunday Major entry… alas, it was not to be.

Here is the process step-by-step.

First of all, I have no idea why Titan opens Internet Explorer ... I’m a dedicated Chrome user. That aside clicking on the Gold Coins number at the top of the lobby gets to this screen where you choose from 3 bonus levels.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I clicked on the ‘Up to $1000’ Purchase button… and was greeted with a spinning wheel. Now, call me old fashioned, but aren’t those things supposed to have a pointer or something to show you where they have stopped?

Anyway, drumroll please….

This was the moment I had been waiting for, oh for at least 2 minutes since making the decision to cash in my points.

What would my prize be?

A $1000 bonus (I’d be ok with clearing it piece-by-piece), entry into the upcoming iPOPs Online Poker Event? Cash to donk around with?

I did not have long to wait.

I’m not even sure how long it took to accumulate the points for that. The money Titan have made in rake / tournament fees from me must have been huge over the months.

I felt as if Titan Poker had jumped out of the screen, slapped me round the face with a particularly old and rancid haddock, and then run away giggling and making fart noises.

It was a nice attempt Titan, you tried really hard to lose a player who has been loyal to your brand since some time in 2006 or 7… if it was not for the super-soft games (and the fact that my protest of playing elsewhere would make no real difference to anything), I’d find somewhere else to play.

Ah well, only another 57000 coins, and I get to spin again.

Can’t f-ing wait.
